One of the local mobile applications being developed are Sony Sugema Digital Learning System (S2DLS). The application contains videos of learning, enlightenment videos, MP3s learning, simulations, ebook, brief theory, archival matter (UN, SNMPTN PTN and other tests), try out the exercises or problems, the introduction of major state universities until the application for the material in an interactive teaching high school students.
But for now, this new application can be run on a smartphone Android 2.2 Froyo series upwards. The initial phase, these mobile applications will be tested on Alpha Centauri High School in Bandung. In high school Alpha Centauri, is planned for the 2012/2013 school each student will use the Android-based Tablet PC that is equipped with S2DLS.
Previously, the application of this S2DLS existing desktop version and has been used by students LBB Sugema Sony Alpha Centauri College and high school, and they proved very helpful in understanding the subject matter.
Learning model is digitally expected to encourage students to learn independently and explore the material from anywhere, anytime. Evaluation study can be done online, so do not waste paper such as learning systems today.
Not only easier for students, for teachers will also be easier to convey the subject matter. Teachers will return its function as an educator who accompany their students without having to explain the matter at length in front of the class.
