Apple Design Alternatives Give Advice on Samsung

SAN FRANCISCO - Apple's proposed design advice for Samsung smartphones and tablets, in order to avoid a design patent. The recommendation is related to a patent lawsuit that took place between the two companies.

Apple has suggested some alternative design options for Samsung, like do not make a tablet or smartphone overall rectangular or rounded corners, and make a tablet with a front surface that is not completely flat.

Reported by PC World, Tuesday (06/12/2011), when Apple sued Samsung in April, the company claims Samsung copied the typical design of the iPhone and the iPad. But Samsung refute and argue that there are so many ways to design devices such as Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab.

To sustain his claim that Samsung has another design choice, Apple should provide examples of alternative designs.

Here are some alternative designs offered by Apple's smartphone for Samsung:

1.Bagian surfaces that are not black or clear
2.Bagian surfaces that are not rectangular, not flat and without rounded corners
3.Tampilan screen that is more square than rectangular or not at all

While alternative designs for tablets, including:
