People who have limited vision, in general it can not use a smartphone, especially smart phones currently include very few physical buttons. Depart from it as the creator of Google's operating system (OS) intends to make easy access for the blind in the new OS, Ice Cream Sandwich.
As quoted by Ubergizmo, Wednesday (23/11/2011), Google will make a sound feature that is built on OS Ice Cream Sandwich. Where these features will make a sound, such as reading the name of the icon or text. This allows the user to find applications that are needed without having to see the phone screen.
Once users find the application you want opened, then the user can simply press the icon, then the user can scroll up and down to find a list of applications. This process requires two fingers, because one finger is used to scroll and identify the item.
Currently, Google does not give a name to this feature, but the obvious ease of access will be present on the OS Ice Cream Sandwich. Maybe the blind will have to wait for full specifications and release are still awaiting confirmation from the internet giant from California.
