Zuckerberg: Google Build a Facebook version of the Mini

While officials hailed Google Google +, Mark Zuckerberg look at social networks such as Facebook's mini version of Google.

That's what Zuckerberg conveyed in an interview with Charlie Rose of PBS TV show. When Rose asked him, whether Facebook will be competing in the platform war with Google, Apple and Amazon in the next 10 years, Zuckerberg said Facebook to see Apple and Amazon more as partners, while Google's recognition as a rival.

"People love to talk about the war. There are many ways to make the companies work together. There is real competition there, but I do not think it will be kind of a situation where there are companies that win in all areas," he said as reported by PC World and quoted on Tuesday (11/08/2011).

"Google is in some ways more competitive and of course trying to build up a mini version of them," he explained. He added that when looking at Amazon and Apple, he saw a company that is very in tune with Facebook.

Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg who also participated in this interview session said their companies have a strategy of partnerships that range in the realm of the provision of social technology for media companies or other technologies.

"We focus on doing one thing very well. Many other companies are doing a lot of different things. While we, as our growth, just do one thing," said Sandberg.

Internet giant Google itself began to seriously immersed herself in the realm of social networking this year. Google + which was released in June, an initiative designed to strengthen Google's position in the social networking market. Through social networking, Google also provides a variety of devices that unify all its products.
