Use Android, Huawei Pay Patent to Microsoft

China's telecommunications giant, Huawei has dikonfimrasi is in talks with Microsoft, regarding the use of the Android software.

Microsoft claims, Google's Android operating system, has violated its intellectual property rights. It managed to convince Samsung, HTC and other vendors to pay the cost of patent royalties.

Reported by the BBC, Tuesday (11/08/2011), Huawei's chief marketing device, Victor Xu, stated discussions with Microsoft is in the process.

The introduction of new devices of Huawei can cause clashes with Microsoft. Company United States (U.S.) claims Huawei Android system on the device have exploited several innovations.

But Xu denied it, he said, "We always respect the intellectual property and companies."

He continued, "We currently have over 65 thousand patents, and has enough instruments to protect our interests."

Meanwhile, Microsoft is not commenting on the news about the secret patent license discussions.

Company based in Shenzen, China is also planning to expand its market to the U.S., Japan and India next year, as well as other parts of the world in 2013.

Apparently it will not be easy for Huawei, China has made the identity of suspicion in some places. Like, the U.S. Commerce Department that prohibit companies build networks nikabel for emergency services on the grounds of national security issues.

Huawei has repeatedly denied links to the Chinese army and stressed that it was just a private business. "Why do people believe it is a threat to national security, that's nonsense," said Xu.
