Microsoft Windows mobile optimistic will attract consumer interest in Indonesia. Even so, pressing the price to be affordable so that it can reach a broader market segment, it seems Microsoft is not a consideration.
Mentioned CMO Microsoft Indonesia Hermawan Sutanto, they entrusted the price tag of mobile smartphone Windows Phone entirely to the vendor. Microsoft is working to make Windows Phone with vendors such as Nokia, Samsung and HTC.
"The decision (price) depending on the vendors that we partner. For example, there is a vendor who wants to play at the high end segment. And we do not sell hardware but the operating system," said Hermawan on the sidelines of the Microsoft Family Campaign in Puncak, Bogor.
He also expressed his opinion that the Indonesian mobile market dynamic. Changes in the market can change at any time following what are trends and consumer needs.
"To win in this market, do not be a follower. Well in Windows Phone this we make something new," umbarnya.
Currently, Windows mobile phone which circulated in Indonesia is still limited, the HTC-made. Maybe Nokia will follow next year. Microsoft's own team prepares three steps to the success of Windows Phone.
"Creating an application that supports, education and another one I think it gives a different scenario such as the Microsoft family campaign for Windows PCs, well, if Windows Phone is one of them even easier for people to connect with anyone with the People Hub," said Hermawan.
