Facebook Will Build Server in Taiwan

After plans to build a server near the Arctic circle, is now Facebook announced plans to build a server in Taiwan. Server to be established at the Central Taiwan Science Park (CTSP) will become Asia's largest cloud servers.

In the United States (U.S.), Facebook is building a big server in North Carolina. For Taiwan server, the plan will cover an area measuring 180 times the size of a basketball court. Wistron, a company's original design manufacturers based in Taiwan, has won a supply demand for the construction of a server up in North Carolina. Supply delivery process will begin in December 2011.

There is a tendency these companies will also propose ourselves as a supplier of server development needs in Taiwan. Similarly, as proclaimed Digitimes, Tuesday (08/11/2011).

With the number of users that almost penetrated more than 500 million users, Facebook continues to increase its server capacity so as not to interfere with the convenience of users in mengaskes site.
